Michelle grew up in Oldham, Manchester, with her mum, Linda, dad, Dennis, and two elder brothers Brian and Darren.

After winning a modelling competition through a tabloid newspaper she was advised by the photographer that she should have a go at glamour modelling. She requested the blessing of her parents as she wouldn’t have done it without their support. She’s been a model in the glamour world for 5 years now and believes she is now considered as “ancient” in the industry. She really wants her music career to take off, but doesn’t intend to fully turn her back on the glamour world.

Michelle started her career by singing in the pubs and clubs around Oldham and Manchester, however, when she became renowned for her modelling she had to stop performing as she was getting attention from people wanting to see Michelle ‘the model’ and not Michelle ‘the singer’.

CAREER
· 1998: Michelle won first prize at Manchester talent
show and was a finalist in BBC Radio 1 song
writing competition

· 1999: Appeared on That’s Entertainment and also
in popular British soaps Brookside, Hollyoaks and
Coronation Street

· 2000: Michelle first posed for the cover of British
tabloid Daily Star in a bikini. She then moved to
the inside pages of this paper and The Sun,
becoming a ‘page three’ girl. Since then, she has
modelled for a number of men’s magazines
including Loaded, Front, Ice, Flux, Fast Car,
SuperBike and Playboy

· 2003: Michelle made it to the last 30 females on
ITV’s Popstars

· In March of 2003, Michelle was named ‘forces
sweetheart’ by British troops in Iraq

· 2005: FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World,
Michelle was a new entry and came 33rd overall

· 2007 – Appeared as a celebrity contestant on
X factor Battle of the stars
 
Michelle became engaged to St Mirren F.C. footballer, Will Haining on Valentines Day 2005. On 2 June 2007 Marsh and Haining married in Scotland at Auchen Castle near Moffat, At the age of 25, she gave birth to her first child, daughter, Maddison, was born on December 16, 2007 weighing 8 lb, 3 oz.
