Neon Music was formed in 2010 as a division of Neon Management.

Neon Music will not only use the existing in-house team at Neon, but add to these with a number of highly experienced consultants who will be assigned to specific projects.

By using only experienced and respected people within the industry, Neon will ensure that our acts get the right team behind them at every stage to give them the best chance of success in a very competitive industry.

The music team at Neon is headed up by Lee Peterson & Steve Long, who between them have a long history within the music industry.

 

Lee Peterson started in the industry as a commercial dance DJ. His love of dance music and studios led to several top ten remixes and success behind the scenes for several top dance acts.

Lee's passion was more commercial music, so he set about working with pop acts. Over the years Lee has worked in various capacities with acts such as ABC, Go West,  Tony Hadley, Steps, Peter Andre, Phixx, Blue, DJ Casper, Fatman Scoop, Busted & Liberty X to name a few.

As well as behind the scenes experience, Lee has firsthand experience on the road, and knows exactly what works for bands.

 

Steve Long has a history  in music dating back longer than he would like to admit. From working directly for Simon Cowell for a number of years, to setting up his own successful Dance label (Inferno Records) - Steve really has seen it all first hand.

In 1999 Steve set about trying to find a girl band to fill a void he could see in the market. Mis-Teeq were formed and signed to Steve as a direct result of his foresight, and the rest is history as they say!

Steve is in the studio several days a week- If ever there was a man who could make things happen, Steve is that man.
